Since UPMC took over they are horrible. They basically killed my mother. My mom was prone to UTI's. The last one I caught early because she lived with me. I took her to the ER . She was jovial and kidding with the staff. They verified it. Admitted her and the nurse in her room said the antibiotics were ordered. I left and when I returned next morning, she was delirious, dazed and didn't recognize me. They NEVER gave them to her. Next : nursing home, Dead within a year. She never recovered. The Obama death panel was real. Look it up. I would not take my pet rat to them. If you go, please follow up 100% of your love one. I have so many stories from friends about Hamot, it's frightening.
