Went in at a little before 1pm and it was my first time. I walk up to the desk and these people acted like I was Doing something wrong because I was talking to them. I told them I was new and would like to donate some plasma. So the guy at the desk asked for my IDs and said he was going to have someone check me out in 5 min so have a seat. Some lady came out 10 min later with a tourniquet and checked my veins in the middle of the waiting room with no gloves on. Announced to everyone no sorry I can't find any veins. Very, very unprofessional to do it in the middle of the waiting room and not taking me into a room in the back to do the assessment and let me know I'm not able to donate. I am not mad about the fact that I can't donate, I'm upset about how unprofessional the workers are.
