I played the course in April, after a long, hard winter, so take this review in that light.
This was my first time playing NVCC and I have to say - I was impressed - it seems like a great value for the quality of play.
The course has plenty of challenges without being penal. You've got some woods, plenty of water and lots of sand. But if you keep your shots more-or-less on target, you'll be fine.
The greens are relatively small (compared to the massive greens at Makefield) and very fast - probably the fastest that I've played in the area. However, this might be because it was early-season when I played. Because of this, and the size of the greens, I found them quite challenging.
NVCC is also very walkable since it doesn't have a huge amount of elevation, it makes for a pleasant day.
I'd definitely return to play again and hope that my next experience is as good as my first.
