I love this place! I have been there a number of times and I like it because they have a nice variety of animals, but is not so big that I need all day. During the early spring when it's still cool not all of the animals were outside, but other animals were more active. The train and carousel are fun but you need to purchase tickets at the front gate. I spent about 2 hours there this visit but in the summer I would be there a little longer since I like to watch all of the animals. This would be a great size Zoo for families with small kids, there is plenty to see but not exhausting. I saw a tiger, giraffe, rhino, warthog, African painted dogs, penguins, lions, oranganatan family, kangaroo, frogs (a new exhibit), and other animals! It was lots of fun. If you are in the area and have some time, please support this Zoo!
