This review is based on customer service for the first call and booking - we have not yet moved but I felt the need to write this review based on the fantastic customer service I have already received.
Upon selling my home i have been BOMBARDED with various moving companies calling , sending mail and e-mails trying to sell me there services.
I have had more than one very frustrating and disrespectful conversations with the customer service/sales persons attached to these various companies ( ahemm...Allstate and U-Pack ) .
One person would NOT let me off the phone after telling him I needed time to speak with my husband before confirming and booking his companies services. He did everything he could to keep me on the phone and try to goat me to booking instantly . Lies about no containers being left to book if I did not book at THAT moment ... my quote magically being $400.00 higher if I hung up the phone .... raising his voice to me and telling me there services would not be available if I called back later that day .
Another company calling and immediately asking for an inventory of my home to give me a proper quote before even introducing themselves... then not letting me get off the phone....
Finally , I called 1800 Pack Rat and a customer service/sales agent by the name of Jason Wilks helped me . He explained the services , answered all my questions and gave me a quote. Upon asking him for any discounts available he put me on hold to speak with a manager, then came back with a quote that was $700.00 cheaper than the last ! Also he compt another service for me .
When I told him I needed some time to go over things and speak with my husband, and that I would be calling him back later - he gave me no flack - no trying to keep me on the phone - no trying to get me to give him my credit card information to hold the quote - just said " ok , ill e-mail you the quote that will be good for a few days so you have time to think about it" . WHAT A RELIEF THIS WAS. To be treated with respect and privacy. He did not try to make me feel bad or make me feel and urgency to book... Just a human adult conversation . It was SOOOOOO nice.
Just for this fact alone..... I called back later that day - Asked for Jason and booked the services with him to make sure he got credit for the sale. I was so appreciative that he did not try to bully me and treated with respect , that I would have booked with him EVEN IF the quote was more than other companies - but It wasn't. It was the lowest quote I received. All taxes included and no hidden fees ( well.... as of yet.... ) . I am hoping and encouraged that all of my interactions with this company will be as good as this one was.
Moving across the country is extremely stressful.... and this interaction just made a possible nightmare that much easier.
