DO NOT take your animals here. I took 3 cockatiels here JUST for a check up, ended up being told that they all had swollen, raw and bloody throats AFTER they had a scope forcibly shoved down their throats! They apparently NEEDED antibiotics right away. I was like ok, but he was so rough! He didn't even talk to the birds, he didn't treat them gently, he man handles them and didn't care that he scared them badly. I have no doubt that he is good at what he does, but when handling a 80-90 gram bird a degree of gentleness is needed. The birds screamed bloody murder and looked like they were about to have a heart attack the whole time he was handling them! Then we ended up rushing one of the cockatiels to the emergency vet that night because of the antibiotics being aspirated into her lungs, we came very close to losing her, then to be told that it VERY doubtful that they needed the antibiotics in the first place, that with the exam they went thru, they should have had a light sedative to go thru! Now we are spending 1000 dollars to save our little girls life on top of the 300 dollar bill, then to find out that the pain that she went thru was most likely un necessary! I am very upset and angry, nothing can repay our girl that trauma she has gone thru, or stop the nightmares we have gone thru! Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay away!
