No one goes into a Brazilian lightly... Prior to making my appointment, I did lots of research, read reviews, blogs; also asked lady friends about the experience. Info was mixed; one said it was worse than childbirth, one said it was "not that bad". I was very apprehensive, as I've never had anything but my eyebrows waxed, and have never shown my lady-bits to strangers.. Laura immediately made me comfortable and at ease; which was a major plus. I'm not going to lie, there were parts that hurt - but nothing unbearable, and nothing lasted longer than a few seconds. It's one hour later, and the area feels 100% normal. No bleeding, no bumps, no bruising, not even sore. Personally, I found it to be some minor discomfort, maybe a 4 on the pain scale at the worst. I can't say enough about Laura; but I did grab a handful of her business cards and I'll be sharing them with my lady friends. I was there a whopping 25 minutes, having hair forcibly yanked by the root from places hair shouldn't grow in the first place, and all I can really say about it is that I've never been so pleased with a service, never met someone so professional and never felt so comfortable in what one would assume should be a terribly uncomfortable situation. So glad I found Laura.
