Sherry Lake Apartments

Just moved in with my girlfriend. From the very beginning we worked with Jeri. She took several hours answering our questions and showing us around, leading up to us signing the lease. Never felt rushed. This is a beautiful place in a serene and peaceful environment around friendly people. Great place to live!

Not sure what others are complaining about. We've had only good experiences. Parking is a challenge, we very often have to park nearly a half mile away. Also, the residents need to learn to clean up after their pets. Other than that, we've had zero problems related the the apartment or the staff. We had a pipe burst, we called emergency maintenance and they came right away. They fixed the issue and sent carpet cleaners to extract the water and clean and dry the floor.

1 review 1.0 star rating 4/3/2017 Anyone who lives here currently or is considering renting here should be aware that the property has a serious bed bug problem that is not being handled properly by the management company. Our experience is this...Both my daughter and her room mate were being bitten. The property tried to cover up the fact that the unit below had an infestation. Despite the well know fact that when one unit in an apartment complex is exterminated the bugs will travel to neighboring units, the property would not treat my daughters apartment (despite pictures of bites on both girls, doctors notes confirming that the bites were in fact from bed bugs and confirmation of the presence of bed bugs in the apt. by 2 bed bug sniffing dogs). Management continued to maintain that the unit did not have bed bugs because they could not see visual signs during the 5-10 minute inspections that were performed. These bugs are nocturnal and until there is a full on infestation you might not be able to see them during the day. They also put down "monitoring systems" which were plain old insect glue pads. Anyone with knowledge of bed bugs knows that they are drawn to human blood and it is unlikely to actually find one in a glue pad. Also, based on this the property denied that we had bugs in our unit. The management is more concerned with covering up the problem and saving money on exterminating all connected units when an infestation occurs that the result is they do not protect their residents. Do not rent here. If you are a resident be aware that management will do everything and anything to keep this information from you and will not take proactive steps to protect you in the event that one of your neighbors has an infestation.
