Quality Avionics has been servicing my aircraft for over 10 years. The most important factor Gary and his staff at Quality Avionics will demonstrate, is doing the job right. Review my complex avionics project (photos also included) listed below which required the extra attention to detail and work ethic of a professional.
Here are the reasons why I continue to be a loyal customer of Quality Avionics:
• My family and I trust them with our life
• Gary’s avionics experience and knowledge is immense between old and new school equipment
• He has the ability to troubleshoot any avionics issue root cause and deliver a suitable solution
• If there is an unknown issue that he discovers, he brings it to your attention to be fixed
• Typically, they offer best price for the level of work and attention to detail performed
My aircraft project consisted of the following:
Installation:
• IFD 540 with all the bells and whistles interfaced to the Aspen
• GNS 255a interfaced to a Gi106a
• JPI 830 with all the bell and whistles interfaced with the IFD540
• AXP 322 1090ES remote transponder positioned in the aircraft tail
• MLB100 ADS-B
• GDL39R with its own ADS-B and GPS antenna
• 8-inch tablet custom mount and power source
• Lots of additional pre-wiring
• Paint blending on airframe
• Installation and wiring of leather wrapped yokes
• Circuit breaker panel completely redone, custom avionics instrument rails and brackets
• Custom panel layout of Aspen 2000 (Dual Aspen 1000 PRO) with battery backup and slaved to the auto pilot.
Removal:
• All steam gauges removed such as airspeed, turn coordinator, directional gyro, VSI, etc.
• All old and no longer used wiring, antennas, brackets, and anything else not needed
• Garmin 430, fuel flow scanner, KX155, Gi209a, and a bunch of other no longer needed items
Summary:
Gary and his staff at Quality Avionics are very meticulous and informative. If you ask them why something is not working or how it works, they will take time out to explain it to you. Simply put, they listen to you, return your phone calls, and keep you in the loop of the entire scope of the project. Quality Avionics went over and beyond on my project by selling some of my old equipment and addressing several unknown discovered issues to provide a turnkey solution. They kept my out of pocket cost down to a minimum and always provided to me the best pricing on equipment and service. As mentioned prior, I have been a customer for over ten years and referred many people to Quality Avionics. NO ONE that I have referred, including myself, has ever had any negative interaction or trust issues with the behavior and/or quality of work performed by Gary and his staff at Quality Avionics.
