The Original Paolo's Pizza & Grille

This place is very hard to review, they have some of the best food I've experienced in that style of dining, but I've also been served very poorly made food as well. Unfortunately they have no consistency in their kitchen staff. Outside of their typically above average food they have below average to garbage service. The business is family owned, and they speak their native tongue often which I have no problem with. Some of them are hard to exchange with, and again no problem at all. Others make you feel like you are bothering them by being there, and their atmosphere is far from the customer king. My most recent and final visit I went in to pick up my order to see 2 staff members sitting at the only taken table in the building, and as I patiently wait for one of them to pretend like they care that I'm standing at the register, I get to listen to one of them loudly talk to someone on speakerphone as the other looks at me almost pretending like I'm not there. Finally she looks to me long enough to be like "ugh, alright... What do you want?"... then as my order is finally presented, I'm informed that 3/4 of the crust on the pizza is "overcooked" but "the inside is fine"... 3/4 of the crust was black and the whole pizza was displayed the same lack of care that the cooking time did. I was never offered a any discount on this busted pizza or even a hint of an apology. TL;DR they have really good food on occasion, they also have no quality control, and the service and staff is typically worse than whatever you may get to eat. It's conveniently located to where I live, but such an inconvenience by the time I'm done. I won't be back.
