Once Upon A Child

I took several items to sell ranging from 18 months to boys 18/20. This was my first time selling items as I normally just donate clothes. I was very disappointed in the experience and actually felt guilty that I didn't just donate the clothes. I was told there were stains and wearing on the clothes they didn't take, yet most of the items that weren't taken were brand new and had only been worn once, if at all. There was a brand new Nike 24 month sweatsuit that the pants were taken, but not the jacket???? Didn't make sense to me. Two other items that didn't make sense not to have gotten purchased was a Columbia fleece jacket my son only wore once and a brand new winter coat he never wore. The whole process made me wonder if the buyers really know what they're doing or if the store is trying to buy so much in such a short amount of time that good clothing is being overlooked. I'll stick to donating.
