Old Mill Stream Campground

Used to be our favorite campground in Lancaster. It has unfortunately gone down hill. In 3 weeks our site was never mowed. Staff is not as friendly as in the past. Etc. Etc.

This campground used to be a great family campground. The experience was always friendly. Reservations were easy and there was rarely any issues. They worked with you. Since the new owners took over, the last few years I have seen a negative change in the campground. Aesthetically it is great. The campground is still clean and they added a few nice touches for kids. However, the rates are getting to be a bit ridiculous, they won't take credit cards for a deposit over the phone, the entrance to the campground is idiotic. Just to get to the campground, you have to take a curvy entrance that the people going to the amusement park will also be going through. Also, make sure you don't arrive before check-in or you'll be paying 10$ per every hour you are early.
