After 5 months of appointments, follow-ups with 4-6 weeks in between, I finally asked my Family Dr. for another referral. Not only should it not take 5 appointments to diagnose someone with Sleep Apnea, once they are diagnosed it should not take several follow-up appointments to fit and prescribe a CPAP. I suspect that the numerous tests for Asthma (despite presenting no symptoms and scoring 0 on the asthma indicator questionnaire) the nasal scoping (he is not an ENT and I have been told he should not be performing this procedure) are being performed for revenue generation purposes, but I can't be sure because this Dr. has zero communications skills and does not answer direct questions. Take my advice..go to Hershey, Holy Spirit or Harrisburg as fast as you can.
