I would give zero stars if I could. They installed a picture window in my house. The beginning of the process was great. I ordered the window I wanted with no problems and it came in sooner than expected. The installers were great and did nice job. My issue is that my window arrived with a crack in it. I wasn’t upset about that, glass breaks, and the installer assured me that he had called in to order the replacement and it would be here in three to four weeks. I was fine with that. But that was almost four months ago. At around the two month mark, I started calling and emailing the “Customer Service Rep” that was assigned to me. It took several calls and emails to get a response and when I did the response was oops, we forgot to order the replacement but it’s being ordered now. I waited another couple of weeks and called to find out the status of the order. After several unanswered calls and emails, I left an angry message asking to be connected to a supervisor, I got a voicemail message from her blaming the guy who orders the windows. She did not leave contact information for a supervisor in her message. For a “Customer Service Rep”, her customer service skills were horrible and she was absolutely useless in terms of helping me resolve the issue. I moved on to contacting the guy who ordered my window. He didn’t return my messages either but he did pick up when I called him once. He said something about my order being lost but that it was due to come in next week he would come by himself to put it in. That was about a month ago and I’ve heard nothing since. So now I have brand new window with a crack in it that I am paying for and no way to remedy the situation because no one will call me back and I don’t have contact information for a supervisor. I will never shop at Lowe’s again. I wouldn’t buy a wrench from them at this point, and definitely not a major purchase like a window. Update: I called the general customer service number at Lowe’s. I spoke with two reps who were very helpful and apologetic. They said my replacement will be in on April 23rd and that it was ordered on March 26th, over three months after the cracked window was installed. That means that the customer service rep and the guy who orders the windows both blattenly lied to me when they told me my window was ordered and on its way. I appreciate having some resolution on this issue (we’ll see if it’s actually resolved on April 23rd) but I do not appreciate being lied to.
Typical big box store, no sales help when needed and to those who don't know, mostly everything in the store is specially made for them, not the same as if you buy from a plumbing store, or if you can find one a lumber yard, if you buy a faucet, shower body all of the brand names are made out of CHEAP PLASTIC,If you buy from a plumbing supply the body is cast brass.
