From the very beginning of our home buying journey we were glad to have Lori McGolrick on our side. My husband and I decided to use the USDA Direct loan program, and even through the ups and downs, we felt at ease knowing that she had the experience to get the job done. This being our first home we were initially unaware of all the steps that were needed to be official home owners. Lori took the time to explain the process and gave us the best and worst case scenarios, so that no matter what happened, we would be prepared for the next steps. I also found it refreshing that she didn't pressure us into one decision over another. With each choice (and there were a lot) she presented the facts, gave her suggestions (based on previous knowledge of our program and more general transactions), and regardless of our decision moved forward explaining the best and worst case outcomes for minimal surprises. She responded to questions and e-mails in a very timely fashion and went above and beyond in making sure our new home fit within the guidelines of the lender. Our program specifically had many moving parts to it and Lori never failed to make sure our deal was top priority and nothing was being held up on our end due to a technical problem. We had two national holidays within our transaction time frame and with the help of Lori (and motivated sellers) we were able to close early and have our first Christmas in our new home. Over all, we had a GREAT experience!
