We had the fence installed a few months ago. I am impressed with the fence itself, but not with the customer service we have received. We had issues with my husky still getting through the fence at first due to the intensity on his collar not being turned up enough. I called and was able to schedule someone to come out to turn it up. The trainer was nice enough, but made a couple of comments that made it feel like we didn't give it enough time for him to learn without turning up the intensity. Considering we know our dog and the fact that the shock wasn't even slightly effecting him, this was sort of annoying. The trainer also told me he would schedule a follow up call for the next day, and lo & behold, I haven't received a single piece of correspondence since then. This was back in October, mind you.
Another thing that has left a bad taste in my mouth- when we first had the fence installed, the gentleman who did it 'accidentally' cut through the main wires leading to the garage after my husband had forewarned him they were there. No big deal- we got a kit to redo the wires, it ran us about $75. We were told by another trainer that we wouldn't be reimbursed for the wire kit, but instead we would be compensated with free batteries for the collar. Again, haven't heard a single thing about this, either.
I feel the company lacks communication in all departments. The fence itself has created peace of mind for us knowing we don't have to worry as much about our dog running off, so it's disappointing we can't be all around satisfied.
