Game Lands Shooting Range

Really nice range. The facilities are very well maintained and well worth the price of admission (which is free). Lots of brass for pickers if that's your thing. Both 100 and 50 yrd targets. There's also a skeet/shotgun range adjacent to the rifle range. No range officers so you have to police your own. Plenty of target cradles but you'll need to bring your own targets. The signs clearly state that this is a rifle only range, no pistols. But I see pistols almost every time I'm there. It's unfortunate because it's things like that that will get ranges like these shut down. I've pointed out to people that pistols aren't allowed but more often than not people just ignore me. Respect the Game Land Rules so we can all enjoy the range.

Nice range. Usually not packed (during the week). They have both a rifle range and clays range for shotgun. Beautiful location. Take a hike while you're there!
