Our 10 year old daughter was involved in a bike accident, resulting in breaking one of her front adult teeth exposing the nerve root. When we took her for a emergency visit to her regular dentist he told us that there is no hope of saving the tooth or the root at all and so he put a little capping on it and told us to schedule for a root canal in a few weeks all rather quickly in the visit. Her little cap fell right off later that same afternoon and we panicked again. This time we decided to call integrity Family dentistry. This second emergency call to Integrity family dentistry was where Dr. Stephen supplied her with the care that she needed. We found out from Dr. Altomari that the root can survive which will help what's left of the tooth, the upper half, grow thicker and stronger and make way for a porcelain crown that still has the root when she is an adult. The best treatment for her age was a composite tooth that looks very close to the one that was broken. He rebuilt the tooth with a composite and thereby covered the root which gives her root an 80% chance of survival rather than 0% that the other dentist gave us and a root canal soon after. So far so good her root is still alive because she can still feel hot and cold and it is working well over one week later and she has a renewed smile on her face because of her composite tooth that he made. We could not be more pleased with the work of Dr. Altomari and his wonderful assistant Sarah Altomari. They went above and beyond to fix this problem.
