In 1 Corinthians 15 the Apostle Paul wrote the following: "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ESV). This is the centerpiece of Christ Community Church. I have never attended a service at this church where anything but the gospel of Jesus Christ was front and center. And the centrality of the gospel for the Christian shines forth in the character of the people who are members and regular attenders here. There is a genuineness and humility that bleeds through in every conversation, in every song and in every sermon. No, there is no such thing as a perfect church. But my life as a Christian has been profoundly affected by Jesus Christ since becoming a part of this wonderful church. I invite you to come and see what God is doing here!
