Went in yesterday, spoke with Joel. Shared some old war stories and what it’s like to try to get some physical activity as you get older( I’m closing in on 60) Told him I was interested in the Trek DS 2. Gave me honest answers. Asked him about the DS 4- mainly why it was about $400 more. He explained and didn’t try to upsell me. Really appreciated and respected that - i’m a novice when it comes to buying bikes. His price for the DS2 was $50-100 cheaper than others I saw online. Left, told him I’d be back. No pressure to “ buy now” Back today. Worked with Brian. Excellent. Very patient, tried a couple different heights ( 17.5, 19) plus various seat adjustments. Got the right fit. Moved to accessories. Told him what I was looking. Showed me the options and explained the differences. Got what I need with a 20% discount( get that for first 30 days after purchase) Great experience. Highly recommend.
