AAA Catering was amazing.
We planned our wedding ourselves, which is an incredibly stressful thing to do. Chip (AAA) assured us from the start that he would take great care of us and give us the best catering wedding day.
The tasting really sealed the deal for us. Chip took time to cook in front of us and give us a sample of what he had to offer. We compared him to other caterers and AAA food was the tastiest, not your "average banquet food".
AAA answered within a few days every time we contacted them.
The week before AAA came to the venue (a family yard) to take a look and plan his layout. We switched things multiple times on him, up until a few days before. He continually assured us that it would work even when I had my doubts about providing him with enough room for his buffet line.
Day of AAA was AMAZING! The two AAA employees showed up and got to work. They set up everything! They set up our tables, which looked amazing with minimal guidance. They set up the place settings which looked amazing! The cake table was perfect. The buffet line worked out with plenty of room to spare.
The hors d'oeuvres were INCREDIBLE! The charcuterie blew everyone away. I had no expectations of anything out of the ordinary and AAA put out the most amazing presentation of meat and cheese I have ever seen. AAA suggested grill vegetables over raw, and that was such a hit - I had so many people come up to me and tell me how great the grilled vegetables were. The passed hors d'oeuvres were amazing. Bacon wrapped scallops, mini crabcakes on rye toast, steak bites. I was truly blown away by the quality and presentation of our cocktail hour foods.
The staff was so great. They were so friendly. They were incredibly helpful. They were so pleasant and happy to be there for us.
Both of us have worked in the restaurant / service industry and now what good service is, and they gave us great service.
The dinner was a pretty standard buffet. The grilled flank steak was such a hit. Baked ziti which got great reviews from our guests. Chicken primaveri which I couldnt get enough of.
I specially requested chocolate mousse shooters and AAA obliged me. They were a huge hit and almost every one of them got eaten.
Honestly, the price we paid for AAA to come and cater, the hors d'oeuvres were worth every penny of it. I did not even mention yet that our party was 55 people and the cost per person provided such incredible value.
